Its official! Monday is now my offical and recognised "nuah" day. Its my first off day on a Monday and I am loving it! Means Sunday I can stay out later, and still afford to rest almost the whole day at home. Consequently, this newfound 'joy' might be a bane if I don't find anything productive to do. Too much rest just doesn't work.

But its a good day to dig out all my old stuff from the many unpacked boxes, and find many things of the past that evokes so many memories. One thing I found that really catches my attention are all the cds and songs...brings back so many different memories. I don't even have a name for some of the memories. One song that stood out was the toilet bowl song by Andy Lau. Whahahahaaa....! Imagine a potato like me used to listen to Andy Lau songs, favourite singer last time. Influenced by my dad and now inspired to search for Andy Lau's old and still enduring songs. Only problem is,being a potato,I dunno their titles, words and meaning. Only thing I can understand is the melody... Oh yeah, except the toilet bowl song. Its lyrics are hilarious! HAHA Next time I go kbox Im gonna find that song and dedicate it to " My dear toilet bowl......" U've suffered much and remained loyal in silence, taking all the shit that came along with the job. Being a toilet bowl is totally one of those saikang that goes so unappreciated.

Ah well,Im not gonna spend too much time infront of the computer. The day's too precious!

I don't wanna move house!! Not yet anyway... Too much of a hassle moving, packing and throwing away stuff. Im kinda sentimental,so got a lot of things i can't bear to chuck away. Ah well, been kinda busy lately, too many ndp related stuff. When comes to medical,SAF suddenly very picky. Must be the 2 deaths....

Quick updates this week:
-bought a cam for 199,cheap cheap.
-Saturdays still getting burnt
-came back from sailing and feeling very nuah
-I haven't been in 'office' for the whole week cos of other stuff
-I'm feeling a bit emo and missing the times when everything seemed simplier haha

I like quick updates like these. So next time i read my own blog,i'll go "Oh yeah, that week was interesting." Quirky feeling...

Anyway,I can't wait for August..... Then my posts will be longer.

10 more sizzling hot saturdays to burn before 9th August. Still i rather it dont rain on any of those days, cos will expect more trauma injuries due to slippery surfaces,as opposed to the usual heat exhaustion on hot days.

Had component training today. Supposed to utilise some of the ambulances, but traditional military cock up: there were no ambulances available today. So basically my team just went there super early in the morning to watch other teams set up and have a free kfc lunch before going back around 1300. Gonna be very sick of kfc soon....

Anyways,it was rather interesting today. To have 8 guys in our camo uniform walking ba long long around esplanade, fullerton hotel and raffles place. In fact,we were actually just walking from floating platform to another site to do a recce. But it was funny to see the weird stares we drew as a group. My words probably won't do justice to the hilarious moments. I rmb as we were walking along the merlion,a group of tourists numbering approx 25 peeps called out to us.

This long hair, dark skinned Indian lady called,"Photo!" while pointing to her camera. Next moment, her fellow clicker-happy friends were shouting over the distance for us to take pictures with them. My team was very amused, but naturally we didn't agree. It was kinda malu actually. Here we are walking past them in the open and there they are gawking and calling to us like we're some peculiar zoo animals. Despite our objection to taking photos with them, some of them still clicked away merrily on their cameras. So malu........ Lucky none of us were holding our macdonalds' in our hands, else caught on camera. Haha.

Guess its very strange to see a bunch of army guys walking around in town. That wasn't the only incident when we were walking. The tourists will be very interested, wanna take photo and ask very excitedly,"Singapore army?!". While the Singaporeans will give weird stares, snigger that NS nowadays so xin lang before hurriedly looking away.
