Got this from a book Im reading,"The Last Jihad". Its pretty interesting,about the situation in the M-E,and the war on terrorism. Some of the events in this fictional story actually parallel a lot of reality. Arafat dead,suicidal planes on the US homeland and the invasion of Iraq.
But this particular paragraph drew my attention the most.
"In a way,God and the afterlife where kind of like gravity,weren't they? It didn't matter if he believed in gravity or not. Gravity was a fact,a simple physical law,a force of nature. A person could stand on top of the Empire State Building shouting,"I don't believe in gravity. I can't see it. I can't taste it. I can't touch it. It doesn't exist." And then jump. But what then? Would his lack of belief in gravity cushion his fall? Of course not. He'd smash on the pavement and die.
Gravity couldn't be seen. But that didn't mean it wasn't true. The truth about gravity could be discovered. And wasn't it smart to discover gravity before it was too late? Maybe the same was true about God. Maybe it was smarter to find Him before jumping blindly into eternity like a fool without a parachute."
Simple logic,but the truth escapes so many people,even me at times. And they say people are getting smarter nowadays......

EMERGENCY NEWSFLASH! PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS TO THE NATION
"Yesterday, May 11th,2008, a date that will live in infamy,the United Jars of Cookies, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by viral and unknown forces of the Empire of Diarrhea.
The United Jars of Cookies was at peace with the Empire of Diarrhea,and at the solicitation of the Empire of Diarrhea, was in conversation with its government looking toward the maintenance of peace in the abdomen region.(after just recovering from diarrhea a week before)
Indeed after one hour of Diarrhea virus commenced bombing of Pearl Harbour(toilet bowl),til the wee mornings of May 12th,2008,the defending forces of the United Jars of Cookies was forced to conduct shuttle runs to safeguard the intergity of its sovereignity,between its base(bedroom) and the main Area of Operations(toilet bowl).
The attack on Pearl Harbour has caused severe damage to Cookie forces. I regret to tell you,that many white blood cells and fluids were lost.
As commander in chief of the white blood cells and fluids, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us.
Hostilities and illness exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our Jar full of Cookies,and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our defensive systems,and the SAF Medical Corps, with the unbounding limit of power of the Cross,we will gain the inevitable triumph,so help us God.
I ask that the Senate of the Jars declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by Diarrhea on Sunday, May 11th 2008, a state of war has existed between the United Jars of Cookies and the Empire of Diarrhea."

Once again,its been some time since i visited my own blog. So i really apologise about not replying the tags promptly. But thanks for the concern about my currently-still-not-back-to-normal-thumb. Been trying to get the SAF to send me for a free X-ray,but schedule this few months has been so tight that I didnt get a chance to scan my thumb yet.
Many events coming up. Just finished RSN Day,so after a week of giving medical cover to rehearsals,its finally over,and we're all rewarded with half a day's off. Too bad the rest of the Navy that weren't involved with the parade ALSO got half a day's off... Ummm... At least its one parade down,2 more to go. De-comm parade and the biggie,NDP.
Tribe events are also on the rise. Parents Appreciation Dinner,Muar retreat,Sports Fiesta... I wanna be there at all of them! but glancing thru my sad-looking calender,I just feel more upset. God please cancel NDP!!!! Haha..
Ah well,sour first,sweet later(this's what i get for getting Mingli to do my chinese hwk in the past,now chinese still very bad.....I'll b.itch about u all i want!!! Whahahahaaaa...)
