Why do we love?

Its been 2 weeks into my new posting to Medic school,and I feel like I've been studying bio for more than that man.. Daily cramping in bio lessons into our heads with whole day lectures and 19 textbooks for a 15 week course. Thats like more than a typical week in JC!

Fortunately,i quite like this course,nt only do we get to get real useful medical qualifications after the course,the info is real handy in any normal medical cases,small yet frequent incidents like scrapes,bruises,cuts after a fall... Asthma attacks... Digestory-related matters... Just a few days back somebody cut his finger,and i couldnt help describing how the brain tells the body to transfer more blood to the cut area in the initial stages before sending the platelets to clot up the area before the WBC come in to start healing the wound. Never thought that somebody who's nvr had any interest/backgrd in bio can be like that. It was seemingly a different person talking when I compared myself then,and a week ago. Medic school.... Sth I nvr wanted to get into,yet strangely fresh. Only bad parts are the injections. Haha..

Anyway,the end of the year is coming. Yr 2007-Yr of victory. 2008-Yr of sabbath. Yr of victory,i still can understand that. Pushing on in confidence in the knowledge that the victory has already been won. But yr of sabbath's a lil different. There's more than simple rest to it. Productive rest. 2 words;and thats wat im catching from people who know more abt the church's plans for next year,yet somehow I feel there's more than what Im catching thus far. THe feeling is just different. Last yr,the cell sat down and discussed our plans,strategies on going abt the yr of victory,so there was some sort of framework. True,man's plans dont always work,but its good to plan,at the very least the planning itself is a form of pre-determination which in turn leads to higher efforts on our part. Anyway this year,its kinda different,no sit-down discussion yet,not really VERY clear on what next year will be like.

So yeah.... 1 month to end of the dec. A month to find out more abt nxt year so can be better prepared,and a month to climb to higher victories! Planning to end this year with a bang with by serving in CDP. God help me... Haha.

Ps Ong ended his yr victoriously too,by getting married. And we reaped his victory by having the opportunity to plaster our images all over various cameras. Twas kinda weird experience for me,since I dont really like taking pictures. But cannot be spoilsport,so took a few fun shots with the rest of the gang....
