Saturday, June 02, 2007 I'm starting to worry about my health. Not long after the diaharrea thing, comes the fever and it still hasn't gone away.. Not that Im worried about the severity of it,its just that how am I supposed to complete the 24klick and IPPT with POP by 13th in mind, with all the Status that's gonna come about? Ah well.. I really shouldnt worry too much. Afterall,it wasn't that long ago that I heard the message about God fulfilling his purpose for me. In fact,it was only yesterday. Went for cell group yesterday. Oh by the way,it was a first for many things yesterday. First time in cell group in 7 weeks, first time in esplanade in more than 7 weeks, first time walking down citylink in more than 7 weeks, first time having subway for dinner, first time bowling in half a year. To say that I enjoyed yesterday's an understatement! Pretty cool to be hanging out with my cell group again.... Jasper shared the word yesterday. It was about a promise made to all men that they had a destiny to fulfill. A destiny already chosen by a higher being, and since its a destiny and a promise at the same time, it WILL be fulfilled. So that implies whatever hicups along the way, things' gonna be fine at the end. Well... I wouldnt have been so convicted in what was shared if I haven't been going on life in the past few days with the 'Always look on the bright side of life' mindset. Cos if things are gonna be fine at the end, all the more reason there shouldn't be any reason to worry and more reason to stay bright eh? Back to more light-hearted stuff. 'Marco' is really good at bowling!! For a boy his age to be trumping most of the cell with his score and style...thats gotta count for something eh. JC wasn't too bad too. Just needed a game's worth of warm up. My own game was pretty rusty. Been a long time... Still,it was fun! Too bad I dont have any pictures to put up... Watching Lion order his subway was an eye-opener too. I can only put it down to lack of experience from eating at subway. He managed to choose his sub, type of bread, stuffings and sauce after an unusually long time and generous prompting and recommendations by the friendly staff of Subway. It was HILARIOUS!! All in all...Its the first time in a long time since I enjoyed myself with the cell. Hard to imagine I was actually struggling to go cell group cos I wanted to stay at home and recover.....
